Chinese I Ching is operated by an individual based in China.

Age and permission

This service is not directed to children under 14. We do not ask for your date of birth. If you are below the age of majority in your jurisdiction, obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian where local law requires it to use the service or make a purchase.

The service

Chinese I Ching provides Chinese texts, project translations, background references and optional Guided Edition access for learning, textual study and reflection. It does not provide medical, legal, financial advice or certain predictions.

Guided Edition

Chinese I Ching Guided Edition costs US$2.99 once. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Access applies to available guidance in Guided Edition V1 for current and later readings. Guidance varies by line and combination; no additional passage is promised where none exists. Future separate editions and human consultation are not included.

Access and recovery

Access has no scheduled expiry. Keep your private recovery code safe. Recovery restores purchased edition access, not device-local notes or questions. Loss of both your session and recovery code may require verified purchase assistance; an email address alone does not prove ownership.

Payments and refunds

Purchasing remains closed. Waffo is the intended launch payment service; its exact merchant-of-record and receipt responsibilities will be confirmed before checkout opens. Direct PayPal checkout is not offered at launch. Confirmed full refunds deactivate access from that order only; other valid purchases remain valid. Partial refunds and unresolved disputes require individual review. See Refunds.

Texts and use

We do not claim ownership of ancient public-domain texts. Project translations, guides and presentation are separate editorial work; source-specific notices remain relevant. Use the reading for your own study, and do not circumvent access controls or misrepresent the guide as ancient scripture.

Availability and termination

We do not promise permanent hosting. Necessary service interruptions or lawful termination are handled with notice and remedies required by applicable law. A purchased edition will not be arbitrarily withdrawn. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. The operator is based in China. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
